Your Value In a story...
A hundred dollar bill - if you hold it up and look at it when you first take it out of your pocket, it is clean and crisp and worth $100.
Now throw it on the ground step on it, throw it in the mud and get grass stains on it...Is it still $100. yes it is..nothing changed just a little dirt.
Now take it out in the street lay it in and oil spot or a gasoline spot once again step on it and ground in the grime of oil and gas... you may not want to handle it, but if you took it to the store and tried to spend it is it still worth a $100?
That is how God looks at each one of us.. No matter what you go through you have not lost your value in God's eyes..
Be the Best You can be...
May God Bless..

How You Deleiver the Message makes all the Difference in the World
The Tone of the Voice
It's not so much what you say,
as the manner in which you say it;
It's not so much the language you use,
as the tone in which you convey it.
"Come here", I sharply said,
And the child cowered and wept.
"Come here", I said, he looked and smiled,
And straight to my lap he crept.
Words may be mild and fair,
But the tone may pierce like a dart;
Words may be soft as the summer air,
But the tone may break my heart;
For words come from the mind
Grow by study and art,
But tone leaps from the inner self,
Revealing the state of heart.
Whether you know it or not,
Whether you mean or care,
Gentleness, kindness, love and hate,
Envy, anger are there.
Then, would you quarrels avoid--
And peace and love rejoice?
Keep anger not only out of your words,
Keep it out of your voice.

Observations on Growing Older
~Your kids are becoming like you...
...but your grandchildren are perfect!
~Going out is good.
Coming home is better!
~When people say you look "Great"...
they add "for your age!"
~When you needed the discount, you paid full price.
Now you get discounts on everything...
movies, hotels, flights, but you're too tired to use them.
~You forget names ... but it's OK
because other people forgot
they even knew you!!!
~The 5 pounds you wanted to lose
is now 15 and you have a better chance
of losing your keys than the 15 pounds.
~You realize you're never going
to be really good at anything .... especially golf.
~Your spouse is counting on you
to remember things you don't remember.
~The things you used to care to do,
you no longer care to do,
but you really do care that you
don't care to do them anymore.
~Your husband sleeps better on a lounge chair
with the TV blaring than he does in bed.
It's called his "pre-sleep".
~Remember when your mother said,
"Wear clean underwear in case you GET in an accident"?
Now you bring clean underwear in case you HAVE an accident!
~You used to say,
"I hope my kids GET married...
Now, "I hope they STAY married!"
~You miss the days when everything worked
with just an "ON" and "OFF" switch..
~When GOOGLE, ipod, email, modem ....
were unheard of, and a mouse was something
that made you climb on a table.
~You used to use more 4 letter words ....
"what?"..."when?"... ???
~Now that you can afford
expensive jewelry, it's not safe to wear it anywhere.
~Your husband has a night out with the guys,
but he's home by 9:00 P.M. Next week it will be 8:30 P.M.
~You read 100 pages into a book before you realize you've read it.
~Notice everything they sell in stores is "sleeveless"?!!!
~What used to be freckles are now liver spots.
~Everybody whispers.
~Now that your husband has retired ...
you'd give anything if he'd find a job!
~You have 3 sizes of clothes in your closet ...
2 of which you will never wear.
~~~~But old is good in some things:
old songs,
old movies,
And best of all, OLD FRIENDS!!
Love you, "OLD FRIEND!"
Remind You of Anyone?
Someone Had to remind me, So I'm Reminding You, too.
Perks of reaching 50 Or being over 60 And heading Towards 70!
1. Kidnappers Are not very Interested in you.
2. In a hostage situation, You are likely to be Released first.
3. No one expects You to run -- Anywhere.
4. People call at 9 PM And ask, 'Did I wake you?'
5. People no longer View you as a Hypochondriac.
6. There is nothing left To learn the hard way.
7. Things you buy now Won't wear out..
8. You can eat Supper at 4 PM.
9. You can live without sex(not really) But not your glasses.
10. You no longer think Of speed limits As a challenge.
11. You quit trying To hold Your stomach in No matter who walks Into the room.
12. You sing along With elevator music.
13. Your eyes Won't get Much worse.
14. Your investment In health insurance Is finally beginning To pay off.
15. Your joints are more accurate meteorologists Than the national Weather service.
16. Your secrets are safe With your friends Because they can't Remember them either.
17. Your supply of brain cells Is finally down to A manageable size.
18. You can't remember Who sent you this list. And you notice These are all
In big print For your convenience.
ONE MORE THING:
Never, Never, Ever Under any circumstances,
Take a sleeping pill, And a laxative on The same night!
